#Being skeptical about such practices, I listened to this with an open mind. The results were astonishing, the affirmations do have a positive effect as they replace negative thought processes. The key is to keep listening to re-programme yourself to remain positive. I recommend this to those who know they can keep an open mind and ultimately benefit from this!

# I work as a mental health support worker and recommended this CD to one of my clients who has a severe anxiety disorder. She has been listening to the CD two times a day for the past three weeks and the reduction in her anxiety levels are significant and profound. # I suffer(ed) from anxiety and panic attacks and decided to give this CD a go when my therapist suggested to try out positive affirmations. I wasn't very good making up my own affirmations. So this CD seemed ideal because Louise Hay's already done it all for you and you can listen to it while cleaning, cooking, putting on make-up etc. There are two parts on the CD: first a spoken part and then, and this is my favourite, the subliminal part where you just hear relaxing music. As some of the spoken affirmations make me laugh or crinch I listen to the subliminal part only. I put it on when I go to bed and usually fall asleep while listening to it. But that's ok because it still works. I don't know how it works but I am anxiety/panic attack free now. I listened to the CD every night for about 30 days and whenever I felt anxious, usually just before leaving the house. It helped me calm down instantly and in the long term it made the anxiety/panic attacks go away. I still listen to the CD every now and again "just in case". For me this CD was a life saver and I can't recommend it highly enough.

# I love Louise Hays's work and try very hard to do the daily affirmations (not always very successfully though!) This Cd is great because you can listen to it any time, any place, any where. Its got the audible affirmations on it first, followed by some that are subliminal, so it sounds as if you are just listening to some relaxing music and VERY relaxing it is too. In fact so much so that If Im sat listening I very often nod off to sleep. It really does help you to unwind and relax. I would highly recommend it.
